Overview

The Kensight 1911 Front Sight features a bright white dot countersunk into the face of the blade, naturally drawing the shooter's eye for improved target acquisition while ensuring the dot will not fade or flake off over time. Wire-EDM machined from 4140 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to an RC 38-40 hardness, this sight is built for maximum strength and durability. The 0.115-inch wide blade is slanted forward to reduce glare and is equipped with a contoured base that blends smoothly with most round-top or carry-melted slide profiles. It is compatible with standard Novak front sight dovetail cuts (0.330" x 65° x 0.070") found on factory and customized 1911 pistols.
