Overview

The Kel-Tec RFB18 is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. It features an 18-inch barrel with a chrome-lined bore and chamber, a threaded muzzle (5/8x24 TPI) equipped with an A2-style flash hider, and a rigid, barrel-mounted Mil-Spec Picatinny rail. Utilizing a short-stroke gas piston operating system and an adjustable gas piston, the RFB is engineered with a patented dual-extractor forward-ejection system that routes spent cases through an ejection chute above the barrel, making it fully ambidextrous. Safety features include a lever safety that disconnects the trigger and blocks the hammer, along with a bullpup design where the breech is isolated from the shooter by two layers of 1.6mm steel. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including a reciprocating operating handle that can be configured on either side. The rifle utilizes standard metric FAL-type magazines with a 20+1 capacity, accepts drop-free magazines without tilting, and comes with a black synthetic bullpup stock, black metal finish, and a two-point sling.
