Overview

The Kel-Tec SUB-2000 is a lightweight, semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine chambered in .40 S&W with a 16.1-inch barrel and a 13-round capacity. Designed to complement standard handguns with magazine and ammunition interchangeability, this model accepts Glock 23 magazines. It features a blue finish with a black polymer grip, an aperture rear sight, and a windage- and elevation-adjustable fluorescent front sight. The carbine utilizes a protected push-bolt safety that disconnects the trigger bar and locks the hammer and sear, while the operating handle can lock the bolt in the rear position. For secure storage and transport, the SUB-2000 can be folded in half by rotating the barrel upwards and back to a compact size and secured with an internal deployment lock.
