Overview

The Kaw Valley Precision (KVP) XL Linear Compensator is designed for pistol-caliber carbine and pistol builds chambered in .45 ACP or smaller. Machined from billet 6061 aluminum with a black finish, this compensator utilizes a large internal expansion chamber to control muzzle blast. The extended length allows for the use of longer handguards in short-barreled configurations. The device features 1/2"-28 threads and does not require a crush washer for installation, though one may be used if indexing of the wrench flats is desired. It is not intended for use with centerfire rifle calibers.
