The Ka-Bar 1482 TDI Law Enforcement Large is a fixed-blade knife designed as a last-resort defensive tool for close-quarter encounters. It features a 3.69-inch drop-point blade made from AUS-8A stainless steel with a non-reflective black coating, paired with a black Zytel handle. The overall length of the knife is 7.56 inches, and it features a hollow grind. Designed by John Benner of the Tactical Defense Institute, the knife is optimized for concealed carry on a belt. It includes a MOLLE-compatible hard plastic friction sheath equipped with reversible nylon webbing straps, allowing for flexible mounting options on duty belts, vests, or waistbands.
