Overview

The JP Enterprises VMOS (Variable Mass Operating System) bolt carrier is designed for 5.56x45mm NATO AR-15 platforms, specifically to provide mass regulation in rifles with difficult configurations, such as suppressed systems or exotic calibers. The carrier features a QPQ black finish for enhanced lubricity and wear resistance. It includes an enhanced gas ring, instruction sheet, and a roller-burnished bore for frictionless operation. The design incorporates a longer cocking pad and additional forward assist serrations for one full inch of travel. The VMOS system allows for custom tunability by exchanging forward masses, though the rear steel mass is fixed. It is intended for use with a Silent Captured Spring; standard buffer/spring components must be installed "loose" or replaced. Note that this carrier will not cycle with a standard buffer retainer plunger installed.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
