Overview

The Iver Johnson Eagle XL Swamp Snake is a semi-automatic 1911-platform handgun chambered in 10mm Auto. Built on a CNC-machined full-size steel frame, it features a 6-inch ported stainless steel barrel and a matching ported, serrated steel slide to assist in reducing muzzle flip and felt recoil. The firearm is finished in a cohesive Swamp Snake hydrographic camo pattern and features snake skin G10 grip panels for a secure hold. Designed with Series 70 internal geometry for a cleaner trigger pull, this pistol includes a skeletonized hammer, a three-hole trigger, and a lowered and flared ejection port. For enhanced field performance, the Eagle XL comes with fully adjustable rear sights, a dovetail front sight, a beveled magwell, an extended slide stop, and an extended thumb safety. It is equipped with a beavertail grip safety featuring a memory cut for consistent engagement. This model has an 8+1 capacity and includes one magazine.
