Overview

The Iver Johnson Hawk Commander is a Series 70-pattern, single-action 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP. It features a 4.25-inch barrel, a forged steel slide, and a CNC-machined cast frame, both finished in matte blue. The internal geometry omits a firing pin block for a lighter trigger pull. It includes a 3-hole trigger, skeletonized hammer, extended slide stop and thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The sights consist of a Novak LoMount rear sight and a Kensight dovetail front sight. The pistol is fitted with fine-line checkered walnut grips and features a lowered/flared ejection port and a beveled magwell. It ships with one 8-round magazine, a gun lock, and a hard plastic case.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
