It features a 5-inch 4140 steel barrel and a CNC-machined 4140 steel slide and frame, both finished with a green snakeskin hydrographic pattern and sealed with a protective clear coat. The firearm is designed as a Series 70 system, omitting a firing pin block for a clean trigger pull, and includes a flat, serrated steel mainspring housing, beavertail grip safety, GI-style fixed post front sight, and a dovetail rear sight. This pistol utilizes white synthetic pearl grips featuring the Iver Johnson Owl Head logo. The 1911A1 Water Moccasin includes a beveled magwell, rear vertical slide serrations, and a finger relief cut near the trigger guard for enhanced ergonomics.
