Hunters Supply Slick Coat Hard Cast 45 Caliber (459 Diameter) Bullets 405 Grain Flat Point Box of 250

Overview

Hunters Supply 45 caliber (.459 diameter) bullets are 405-grain lead projectiles with a flat point profile, sold in a box of 250. These bullets feature a specialized Slick Coat lubricant, allowing them to be fired at high velocities, including tests exceeding 2000 fps without the need for a gas check. The bullets are cast from an alloy consisting of 92% lead, 6% antimony, and 2% tin, resulting in a Brinell hardness of 15. The lubricant is designed for use with smokeless powder, though it is also compatible with black powder firearms with barrels shorter than 20 inches.
