Overview

Hunters Supply hard cast lead bullets are designed for competitive shooting and hunting small to medium-sized game. These .44-40 WCF (.427 diameter) 200-grain lead hollow point bullets are composed of an alloy consisting of 92% lead, 6% antimony, and 2% tin, resulting in a Brinell hardness of 15. Each bullet is treated with a specialized Slick Coat lubricant, which is formulated for use with smokeless powder and allows for high-velocity performance—tested at over 2000 fps without the need for a gas check. The lubricant is also compatible with black powder firearms featuring barrels shorter than 20 inches. This product consists of 100 projectiles and is not loaded ammunition.
