Overview
Hornady 17 HMR 20-grain Varmint Express ammunition is engineered for long-range, tack-driving accuracy. These rimfire cartridges feature the XTP (Extreme Terminal Performance) bullet, which utilizes a swaged core and drawn copper jacket to ensure in-flight stability. The bullet's performance-improved point includes six precise folds designed to initiate controlled expansion at a wide range of velocities without premature fragmentation. This ammunition is suitable for varmint hunting, offering a flat trajectory and reliable terminal penetration.

Reviews
Customers report that this ammunition is accurate, reliable, and effective for hunting small game. Some users note that it may lack sufficient stopping power for larger varmints and requires re-zeroing compared to lighter bullet weights.
