Overview

The Hornady PTX Universal Powder Drop Expander is designed to work in conjunction with the Case Activated Powder Drop and Quick Change Powder Die. This tool allows reloaders to charge cases while simultaneously expanding the case mouth to the desired diameter, eliminating the need for a separate case mouth expander die in the reloading sequence. Made in the United States, this 0.355-inch diameter powder through expander features standard 7/8"-14 threads to fit compatible presses, and is suitable for use with both lead cast and copper-plated bullets. Each unit includes a storage box for convenient organization.
