Overview

Hornady Powder Through Expanders (PTX) are designed to work in conjunction with the Case Activated Powder Drop and Quick Change Powder Die. These expanders allow reloaders to simultaneously charge cases and expand the case mouth, eliminating the need for a separate case mouth expander die on progressive presses like the Lock-N-Load AP to free up an extra station for a taper crimp or powder cop die. They are engineered to accommodate both lead cast and copper-plated bullets.
