The Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case for .50 BMG is an essential tool for use with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge. These cases feature a threaded case head and a .002" oversized neck to accept bullets, allowing reloaders to precisely measure the distance between a bullet and the barrel's rifling lands. By providing measurements accurate to .001", this modified case helps handloaders regulate seating depth to improve accuracy and consistency. Each brass case has had the flash hole replaced with threads to ensure secure attachment to the gauge.
