Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge Modified Case 338 Winchester Magnum

Overview

The Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge Modified Case is engineered to fit popular rifle chambers to SAAMI specifications. Designed for use with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge (sold separately), this modified case allows reloaders to precisely measure the bullet-to-lands relationship in a firearm barrel. The case features a flash hole that is cut out and replaced by a special fine thread, ensuring the case attaches squarely and maintains precise alignment in the chamber. Additionally, the case neck is made perfectly round and opened slightly to allow a standard-diameter bullet to slip into the mouth effortlessly and concentrically for accurate measurement results.
