The Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Comparator is a precision tool that measures cartridge length from the bullet ogive to the case base, eliminating variations caused by bullet tip irregularities. It attaches to any standard caliper and uses 14 interchangeable inserts to accommodate bullet diameters ranging from .172 to .458 inches. The kit includes the comparator body, the 14 inserts, and an Allen wrench. It is designed to be used independently or in conjunction with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge to determine precise seating depth.
