The Hornady Lock-N-Load .243 Caliber/6mm Bullet Comparator Insert is a precision tool used to accurately measure bullet seating depth from the base of the cartridge to the ogive, rather than the bullet tip. This eliminates measurement variations caused by inconsistent tip finishes. This insert is designed to be used in conjunction with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Comparator and the Hornady Lock-N-Load Overall Length Gauge (both sold separately) to achieve precise and consistent seating depth.
