Overview

Hornady LEVERevolution .45 Colt ammunition features a 225-grain FTX (Flex Tip eXpanding) bullet. The proprietary elastomer Flex Tip technology allows for the use of pointed bullets in lever-action rifles with tubular magazines, providing a higher ballistic coefficient and flatter trajectory compared to traditional flat-point loads. This ammunition is produced using new, non-corrosive, boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases. It is designed to deliver consistent velocity and reliable expansion for hunting deer and black bear. For optimal performance and to prevent tip deformation, it is recommended to avoid storing this ammunition in a tubular magazine for extended periods.
