Hornady SST (Super Shock Tip) .30-caliber 125-grain rifle bullets combine a flat-shooting secant ogive boattail profile with a sharp polymer tip for an increased ballistic coefficient and minimal drag. Designed for deer and other medium-to-large North American game, the hard polymer tip acts as a wedge upon impact for fast, controlled expansion and massive wound channels. An InterLock ring mechanically locks the lead core and tapered jacket together to maintain bullet integrity and ensure high weight retention.
