Overview

Hornady FTX rifle bullets feature a patented soft Flex Tip that compresses upon impact to initiate expansion, along with a secant ogive profile and tapered front section for a high ballistic coefficient and flat trajectory. The high antimony lead core is mechanically locked to the jacket via an InterLock ring for deep penetration and weight retention. These bullets are safe for use in tubular magazines and are engineered to perform at muzzle velocities from 1600 to 2600 fps.
