Overview

Hornady Dangerous Game Series ammunition is designed for hunting large, tough animals. This .450-400 Nitro Express 3" load features a 400-grain DGX (Dangerous Game eXpanding) Bonded flat-nose bullet. The projectle utilizes a copper-clad steel jacket bonded to a lead core to prevent separation upon high-energy impact with dense muscle or bone, allowing for controlled expansion to 1.5 to 2 times the original diameter and deep penetration. The rounds are brass-cased, boxer-primed, and non-corrosive, with a muzzle velocity of 2,050 fps and 3,732 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. Each box contains 20 rounds.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
