Overview

Hornady Custom-Grade three-die sets are designed for precision reloading of straight-wall pistol cartridges. The set includes a sizer die with a titanium nitride (TiN) coated "gold ring" sizing ring, which eliminates the need for case lubrication and prevents scratching. These dies feature the Zip Spindle design, which locks positively to eliminate slippage and allows for quick, incremental spindle adjustments. The seating system aligns the bullet, case neck, and seating stem in a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case, ensuring optimal accuracy. The die includes a built-in crimper, eliminating the need for a separate crimp die. Also included are three Sure-Loc lock rings, which clamp around the die without contacting threads to prevent damage. The set comes in a stackable, compartmentalized storage box. Note that shell holders are sold separately.
