Overview

The Hornady Custom Grade Nitride 3-Die Set for .380 ACP features a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated sizing ring that eliminates case sticking and removes the need for case lubrication, reducing abrasion and extending brass life. Internal die profiles are precision-machined and polished to ensure reliable function. The sizing die utilizes a Zip Spindle design that positively locks to prevent slippage while allowing fine incremental or rapid adjustments. An elliptical expander provides smooth neck sizing, minimizes friction and case neck stretch, and eliminates the need for a separate necking-up die. The seating system aligns the bullet, case neck, and seating stem in a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case, incorporating a floating steel seating stem and a built-in crimper that enables crimping without an extra die station. Sure-Loc lock rings clamp around the entire die body to maintain constant pressure across the threads without contacting them directly, preventing thread damage. The set includes three Sure-Loc rings and a plastic storage box. Shellholder is sold separately.
