The Hornady RAPiD AR Gunlocker is a fully enclosed, black steel safe designed for the secure storage of up to two tactical-length rifles or shotguns. Constructed from 16-gauge steel with four hardened internal locking lugs, the unit provides heavy-duty, tamper-proof security that exceeds ASTM international safety standards. It features a spring-assist lid and versatile mounting options, allowing for horizontal or vertical placement under a bed, in a closet, or within a vehicle. Access is provided via touch-free RFID technology, with the ability to program up to five RFID tags (wristband, key fob, or decals included). For secondary entry, the safe includes a programmable four-to-six digit keypad and two circular barrel keys. The interior is protected by foam inserts to secure firearms during storage. The unit is powered by both AC and battery, ensuring 24/7 readiness. For added security, the safe includes a 1500-lb rated security cable and pre-drilled mounting holes for permanent installation.
