Hornady Critical Defense .357 Magnum ammunition is engineered for personal protection and short-barreled, concealed-carry firearms. Each 125-grain FTX bullet features a patented Polymer Flex Tip designed to expand reliably and prevent clogging when fired through heavy clothing. The ammunition is housed in nickel-plated brass cases to resist corrosion and improve visibility during chamber checks in low-light conditions. Each round is designed with optimized propellants to limit muzzle flash and reduce recoil. This ammunition provides a muzzle velocity of 1500 fps and 624 ft-lbs of muzzle energy.
