Overview

Hornady Precision Hunter 6mm ARC ammunition is engineered to meet the demands of hunters, match shooters, and personal protection applications alike. Featuring a 103 grain Polymer Tip (ELD-X) bullet with a patented Heat Shield tip, this load defies aerodynamic heating to retain its shape and maintain an exceptional ballistic coefficient over its entire trajectory. A streamlined secant ogive, optimum boattail design, and concentric AMP copper jackets combine to deliver match-grade accuracy. Designed for effective terminal performance across all practical ranges, the ELD-X bullet delivers continuous expansion along its penetration path at high velocities (0-400 yards), supported by a thick jacket shank and InterLock ring for 50-60% weight retention. At lower velocities (400+ yards), the Heat Shield tip drives backward to initiate reliable expansion, producing a large mushroom with 85-90% retained weight for deep penetration and large wound cavities. Each box contains 20 rounds of new production, non-corrosive ammunition featuring boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.
