Overview

Hornady Superformance 25-06 Rem ammunition is engineered with proprietary progressive propellants that increase muzzle velocity by up to 200 feet per second compared to conventional loads. This increase in performance is achieved without raising chamber pressure, which maintains standard felt recoil levels, muzzle blast, and barrel wear. The ammunition is designed to perform reliably across a wide range of temperatures, from sub-zero conditions to extreme heat. Each round is loaded with the 117-grain InterLock Super Shock Tip (SST) bullet. This bullet features a pointed polymer tip for improved ballistic coefficients and a flatter trajectory. The SST design incorporates a one-piece core with a strengthened jacket and Hornady’s InterLock ring system, which locks the core and jacket together during expansion to ensure superior weight retention and consistent wound channels.
