Overview

Hornady Outfitter 30-06 Springfield ammunition is engineered for hunting medium to large game, even under the most demanding environmental conditions. Each round features a 150-grain CX (Copper alloy eXpanding) bullet, which is a monolithic design that provides uniform controlled expansion, deep penetration, and over 95% weight retention. The bullet incorporates a Heat Shield polymer tip to maintain aerodynamic consistency and a perfect meplat, while specialized groove geometry reduces bearing surface and fouling. This ammunition is housed in nickel-plated brass cases that are sealed to be waterproof and corrosion-resistant, ensuring reliable ignition and protection from moisture. It features a muzzle velocity of 3,000 fps and a muzzle energy of 2,997 ft-lbs. Designed as non-corrosive, boxer-primed, reloadable new production, this ammunition is suitable for use in regions requiring nontraditional or non-lead bullets. Each box contains 20 rounds.
