Overview

Hornady Superformance .308 Winchester ammunition features a 165-grain CX (Copper alloy eXpanding) monolithic bullet designed for medium to large game hunting. The CX projectile incorporates a heat-resistant polymer Heat Shield tip to maintain aerodynamic integrity and maximize ballistic coefficient, along with optimized groove geometry to reduce fouling and improve stability. Superformance propellant technology allows for increased muzzle velocities—up to 2,750 fps—without increasing chamber pressure, recoil, or muzzle blast. This lead-free ammunition is suitable for use in areas requiring non-traditional projectiles and is compatible with various firearm actions, including semi-autos, lever guns, and pump actions. Each round is produced with high-quality, reloadable, boxer-primed brass cases.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
