Hornady 6mm/.243 Caliber Crimp-On Gas Check, Box of 1000

Overview

Hornady Crimp-On Gas Checks are designed to enhance the performance of cast lead bullets in 6mm and .243 caliber cartridges. Packaged in a box of 1,000, these copper gas checks crimp securely onto the base of the bullet during the sizing process. By creating a reliable seal that prevents hot powder gases from deforming the bullet base, these gas checks minimize gas blow-by and reduce lead fouling in the barrel. They help maintain bullet stability and accuracy at higher velocities for both rifle and pistol applications.
