Overview

The Hornady ELD-X is a 200-grain, .30 caliber polymer-tipped bullet designed for match-accurate, all-range hunting performance. It features a Heat Shield tip that resists aerodynamic heating to maintain a consistent shape and high ballistic coefficient across its entire trajectory. The bullet utilizes a streamlined secant ogive profile with an optimum boattail design and highly concentric AMP bullet jackets for superior aerodynamic efficiency. For terminal performance, the ELD-X is designed for continuous expansion upon high-velocity impacts (0-400 yards) throughout the penetration path. At these ranges, the thick jacket shank and high InterLock ring keep the core and jacket together, providing 50-60% weight retention. Upon lower-velocity impacts (400+ yards), the Heat Shield tip drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion, resulting in a large mushroom with 85-90% weight retention for deep penetration and large wound cavities. This product contains 100 bullets per box.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
