Hornady 2840 ELD-X 7mm .284 162 gr Extremely Low Drag eXpanding 100 Per Box/ 15 Case, Reloating Bullets

Overview

The Hornady ELD-X (Extremely Low Drag - eXpanding) 7mm .284 caliber, 162-grain bullet is a match-accurate projectile designed for long-range hunting. It features a patent-pending Heat Shield polymer tip that resists aerodynamic heating, maintaining its shape to ensure consistent ballistic coefficients across the entire trajectory. The bullet utilizes a streamlined secant ogive, an optimum boattail design, and a highly concentric AMP bullet jacket. A high InterLock ring keeps the lead core and copper jacket bonded together, typically providing 50-60% weight retention at high velocities and higher retention at lower impact velocities. This box contains 100 bullets.
