Overview

The Hornady ELD-X 6mm 90-grain boat-tail rifle bullet is a match-accurate hunting projectile engineered with high ballistic coefficients and controlled expansion across all practical distances. It utilizes a patent-pending Heat Shield polymer tip that resists aerodynamic heating and deformation to preserve its shape and trajectory over extended ranges. The design features a streamlined secant ogive, optimum boat-tail geometry, and concentric AMP jackets. At high velocities (0–400 yards), the bullet provides continuous expansion, while low-velocity impacts (400+ yards) drive the tip backward to initiate expansion, backed by a thick jacket shank and InterLock ring that ensure 50% to 90% weight retention.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
