Overview

The Hornady Powder Cop Die is designed for progressive reloading presses to automatically check dropped powder charges. Installed immediately after the powder drop station, the die uses an internal stem that rises as powder is introduced. When the correct powder charge is present, a white O-ring aligns flush with the top surface of the die. An uncharged case causes the stem to remain down, while an overcharge elevates the O-ring visibly above the die surface. It is compatible with .22 caliber and larger cartridges.
