Overview

The Hawkins Precision M5 Detachable Box Magazine (DBM) bottom metal is designed for the Remington 700 Long Action in 338 Lapua Magnum and is CIP-compatible. CNC-machined from a single piece of billet aluminum with an anodized black finish, this unit features a drafted magazine port, a barricade stop, and a patented cantilever spring release designed to prevent accidental opening under recoil. The assembly fits M5 inlets and includes action screws and bedding pillars; it is designed for use with AICS magazines.
