Overview

The Hawkins Precision Hunter Detachable Box Magazine (DBM) bottom metal is a flush-mounted unit machined from a single piece of billet 6061 aluminum with an anodized black finish. It features an adjustable, cantilever spring release designed to prevent accidental opening under heavy recoil. The unit is designed to fit an M5 inlet and is intended for Remington 700 actions and clones. This bottom metal comes with pillars and action screws. For long-action Remington 700 and Zermatt Origin actions, gunsmithing is required to accommodate the magazine COAL. For short actions, it is compatible with Hawkins Flush Hunter magazines and AICS 308-style magazines. For long actions, it is compatible only with Hawkins Flush Hunter magazines; it will not fit CIP-length AICS, MDT, or Accurate magazines. Magazine is not included.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
