Overview

The Hawkins Precision Featherweight Standard 30mm Scope Rings are a direct-attach mounting solution engineered for ultralight hunting rifles. Machined from a single piece of billet aluminum in a matte black finish, these rings weigh between 2 and 3 ounces while maintaining a robust design rated for up to magnum calibers. Designed to accommodate actions regardless of thread pitch, they ship with both 6-48 and 8-40 screws. Featuring an engraved "F" for the front ring and "R" for the rear, the rings include sheer/recoil pins for compatible actions and can be mounted in multiple orientations to optimize eye relief. When installing, recommended torque specs are 15 in-lbs for #6 screws, 22 in-lbs for #8 screws, and 20 in-lbs for the ring caps (or per your scope manufacturer's guidelines). The low-profile height is generally suited for sporter barrel contours and scopes with a 44mm objective lens or smaller, fitting popular action patterns including Remington 700, Bergara, Christensen Arms, Savage 110, Stiller, and many others.
