Overview

The Hawke Sport Optics Vantage IR is a 4-12x40mm riflescope designed specifically for the .17 HMR caliber. It features a 1-inch mono-tube chassis, nitrogen-purged for waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance, and utilizes 11-layer fully multi-coated optics for clarity. The glass-etched reticle is illuminated in red or green with 5 brightness settings for each, and the scope includes a fast-focus eyepiece with a high-torque zoom ring. Equipped with a bullet drop compensating (BDC) reticle, the scope allows for easy zeroing at 100 yards on 12x magnification. It provides accurate aim points in 25-yard increments out to 375 yards, specifically optimized for 17-grain ammunition at 2550-2650 fps, though it can be calibrated for 20-grain rounds. The unit features an adjustable objective for parallax-free viewing from 10 yards to infinity and utilizes 1/4 MOA low-profile, finger-adjustable turrets.
