Overview

The Haley Strategic Partners FlatPack 2.0 is a versatile, purpose-built assault pack constructed from MIL-SPEC 500D nylon, MIL-SPEC woven elastic, and YKK zippers, featuring a full peel-open design and a loop interior lined with VELCRO brand fasteners. Equipped with a unique expandable gusset system, the pack converts seamlessly from a nearly flat profile when compressed to an expanded state that provides up to 600 cubic inches (or 150% more) of storage volume. In its compressed configuration, the main compartment can accommodate a 1-liter hydration bladder while the dedicated admin chamber holds small essentials like batteries and chem lights. When fully expanded, the main compartment is spacious enough to hold a jacket, helmet, or a fully loaded D3CR chest rig, while the admin area can store electronics or compact binoculars. The FlatPack 2.0 includes adjustable shoulder straps and side straps for direct D3CR integration—replacing the standard H-harness to create a lightweight reconnaissance or everyday carry platform—and features a chest strap for added stability under load. It can also be integrated via MOLLE into any PALS-based system, including plate carriers and assault vests.
