The Heckler & Koch VP40 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 40 S&W with a 4.09-inch cold hammer-forged barrel. Built on a polymer frame with a Picatinny rail, it features a serrated steel slide with a hostile environment finish for corrosion resistance. The pistol includes a polygonal bore profile designed for increased muzzle velocity and longevity. Designed for full ambidextrous operation, the VP40 includes slide releases on both sides and a paddle-style magazine release. It features a unique grip system with three changeable backstraps and six side panels, combined with molded finger grooves. Patented rear-mounted charging supports are integrated into the slide for improved gripping leverage. This model is configured with 3-dot sights and two 10-round steel magazines.
