The Heckler & Koch VP9 is a 9mm striker-fired handgun featuring a 4.1-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with a polygonal rifling profile for increased velocity. The pistol has a green polymer frame with an integrated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail and a black serrated steel slide. Ergonomics are prioritized through an adjustable grip system that includes interchangeable backstraps and lateral grip plates, allowing for 27 unique configurations to suit various hand sizes. The VP9 features fully ambidextrous controls, including the slide release and magazine release, as well as HK's patented rear-mounted charging supports for easier slide manipulation. The trigger is designed with a short, light take-up and a positive reset. The firearm includes three 17-round magazines and features contrast-style night sights.
