Overview

The Griffin Armament Taper Mount Stealth Flash Hider is a high-performance 3-prong flash suppressor featuring advanced anti-resonance geometry to eliminate pinging and ringing when fired. CNC machined from heat-treated 17-4 PH billet stainless steel with a durable Black Nitride (Melonite QPQ) finish, this muzzle device provides corrosion-free service life. Designed to interface with Griffin Taper Mount silencers—including the RECCE, Paladin, EXPLORR, Sportsman, Optimus, and Bushwhacker series—as well as pistol silencers using a minimalist blast shield, it can also accommodate silencers from other manufacturers via Plan-A adapters. The unit features pre-drilled holes for pinning and welding 14.5-inch barrels to achieve a 16-inch overall length. It requires no timing or shims for installation and is compatible with the Taper Mount Thread Protector.
