The Griffin Armament Explorr Taper Mount Blast Shield is engineered from fully H900-treated 17-4 stainless steel with laser-welded construction to withstand intense use and full-auto fire. Featuring a melonite QPQ surface treatment, this 1.5-inch outer diameter and 3.5-inch long device significantly reduces concussive force and muzzle blast for shooters in close quarters. It utilizes the Taper Mount-RI (Rapid Index) interface, which is designed for secure attachment, unbeatable accuracy, and a mounting speed three times faster than original taper mounts. It is compatible with Griffin Taper Mounts and projectiles up to 9mm.
