Overview

The Griffin Armament DUAL-LOK Closed Tine Flash Hider is machined from a solid bar of heat-treated 17-4PH stainless steel and finished with a lustrous black nitride QPQ coating for hard-use durability. Designed to interface with DUAL-LOK suppressors and blast shields, it provides enhanced flash suppression and muzzle rise compensation compared to standard A2 compensators, particularly on short barrels. The closed-tine architecture prevents snagging on thick vegetation. Additional features include a 3-position wire cutter on the front for breaching obstacles and clearing rebar, a blank-firing adapter (BFA) groove on the 5.56mm model, and an included shim set.
