Overview

The Griffin Armament 24mm x 1.5mm thread adapter allows AK platforms to utilize 1/2x28 threaded accessories. These 17-4 billet machined adapters feature a raised surface designed to interact with the muzzle face rather than the front sight base, providing improved alignment accuracy compared to standard detented devices. The units are finished in a durable matte black Melonite QPQ. Each adapter includes 27mm wrench flats for ease of installation. Griffin Armament recommends 50 ft-lbs of torque for installation and advises that a qualified gunsmith perform an alignment check prior to suppressor use. Note that shims are not included but may be utilized for timing attached muzzle devices.
