Overview

The Geissele Super Duty MOD1-A is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle featuring a 14.5-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a mid-length gas system. The rifle is built on a Super Duty ambidextrous billet lower receiver and includes fully ambidextrous controls, such as a right-side bolt catch and release, and a Maritime Bolt Catch. It is finished in Desert Defense Color (DDC). Key components include a Geissele Forged Stressproof Bolt made from Carpenter 158+ steel, an SSA-E X two-stage trigger with a Lightning Bow, and a 13.5-inch MK16 handguard. Recoil is managed via a Super 42 braided buffer spring with an H2 buffer. The muzzle is equipped with a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD (1/2x28 thread) for suppressor compatibility. The rifle is completed with a B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock and Geissele A17 grip. It weighs approximately 6.7 pounds and measures between 32 and 35.25 inches.
