Overview

The Geissele Super Duty MOD1-A is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle chambered in 5.56x45 NATO, featuring a 14.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel paired with a pinned and welded HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD compatible with HUXWRX FLOW suppressors. Engineered for dynamic shooting conditions, the MOD1-A incorporates fully ambidextrous controls, including a left-side magazine release located below the Maritime Bolt Catch, and right-side bolt catch and release buttons positioned below the ejection port. At the core of the rifle are a High-Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) barrel and a Forged Stressproof Bolt machined from Carpenter 158+. A precisely tuned gas system, Super Compact Gas Block, and Super 42 braided buffer spring work in harmony to reduce felt recoil and ensure reliable cycling. Additional features include a two-stage SSA-E X trigger with a wide Lightning Bow shape and Nanoweapon-coated internals, a center-tab mated MK16 rail with stainless steel QD inserts, a Geissele QD sling endplate, a B5 SOPMOD stock, and an A17 pistol grip.
