Overview

The Geissele Super Duty MOD1-A is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO AR pistol finished in black, built on a Super Duty ambidextrous billet lower receiver and Super Duty M4 upper receiver. It features an 11.5-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 twist, paired with a Carbine gas length, a .067" gas port, and a Super Compact Gas Block. The platform incorporates fully ambidextrous controls, featuring a left-side magazine release and right-side bolt catch and release buttons. Core components include the HPT and MPI certified Geissele Forged Stressproof Bolt machined from Carpenter 158+ steel, paired with a Reliability Enhanced BCG and a Super 42 braided buffer spring with an H3 buffer to manage dwell time and bolt carrier velocity. The two-stage SSA-E X trigger utilizes a Lightning Bow and Nanoweapon-coated internals for a clean break. A 10.5-inch MK16 rail with a center tab surrounds the barrel, and the muzzle features a 1/2x28 HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD for suppressor compatibility. An SB Tactical SBA3 pistol brace, Geissele A17 grip, and Super Configurable Selector complete the build. The pistol measures 27 3/4 inches collapsed and 30 3/8 inches extended, with an approximate weight of 6.0 lbs.
