Overview

The Geissele Super 42 buffer spring is designed to improve the function and reliability of AR-15 pattern rifles. Utilizing a unique three-strand braided wire design inspired by the German MG42 machine gun, it acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber by allowing the independent strands to flex separately. This design displaces excess energy, reduces the chance of spring failure, eliminates annoying spring reverberations (twang) through the buttstock, and maintains length and force over extended round counts better than stock springs. With a 15% stronger average return force than standard buffer springs, it assists in stripping rounds from magazines when operating a dirty weapon or using steel-case ammunition. Note that the Super 42 is not compatible with rifle-length or A5 buffer tubes, and is not recommended for use with 300 Blackout subsonic ammunition.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
